The 杰出校友 Award is the highest award presented to an alumnus by the 都会社区学院基金会. 该奖项旨在表彰有以下成就的校友 brought honor to the College through professional achievements, leadership and community 影响.

Nominations can be made by current 十大娱乐彩票平台 students and employees as well as community 成员. A nominee's name remains in status for three years, after which the nomination 可以重新提交. Acknowledgment of nominations will be sent to the nominators. Nominations will be accepted until selections are made.

The 杰出校友 honoree will receive the award at 十大娱乐彩票平台's commencement ceremony. A formal invitation will be sent to the honoree; attendance is mandatory. 如果是获奖者 is deceased, someone may accept the award posthumously.

Danan Hughes is an inspiring individual who has achieved remarkable success in both 他的运动和职业生涯. 他从高中棒球运动员开始的旅程 to a professional athlete and respected analyst exemplifies the power of hard work, 韧性和领导力.

Danan played both baseball and football at the University of Iowa, where his athletic 才能蓬勃发展. Drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers, Hughes spent two years in professional baseball before making the tough decision to pivot to football. 被堪萨斯队选中 City Chiefs, Hughes played from 1993-1998, alongside Hall of Famers Joe Montana, Marcus 阿伦和德里克·托马斯.

Today, Danan Hughes is a color analyst for the Kansas City Chiefs Radio Broadcast, host of the “Players Only” radio show, and the only color analyst for college baseball, football, and basketball across Big 10 Network, ESPN, and Fox Sports. 此外, he is a Mortgage Originator at 社区America Credit Union.
